Please read this before registering your child. Indian law — the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — requires your informed consent as their parent or guardian.
Who is responsible for this information
TopperLens Junior holds and is responsible for your child's information. You can reach us about anything on this page at privacy@junior.topperlens.in.
What we collect about your child
- Their name — so reports and their own dashboard are personal to them.
- Month and year of birth — this sets which test they sit and which age benchmark they are measured against. We do not need the exact date.
- Gender — used only so we write "he" or "she" correctly, and for their avatar. You may leave it unset.
- Grade, school and board — optional context for reading their results.
- Their answers and results — what they answered, how long they took, and the scores we work out from that.
What we never collect
We do not ask for your child's photograph, home address, location, phone number, email address, health or medical information, biometric data, caste, religion, or anything about their family circumstances. Please do not send us any of it.
What we use it for
One purpose only: producing your child's reports and showing their progress over time. We do not use it for anything else.
What we will never do
- We do not show your child advertisements of any kind.
- We do not track or profile your child for advertising, and we do not follow them across other websites or apps.
- We do not sell, rent or share your child's information with anyone for their own purposes.
- We do not rank your child against other children. Every score compares them only to their own earlier attempts or to a published age benchmark.
Who can see it
You can. Your child can, through their own login if you create one. Nobody else, apart from the service providers who host our systems, and they may only act on our instructions.
How long we keep it
For as long as you keep the account, so progress over time remains meaningful. Delete your child's profile and we remove their personal information, keeping only what we are legally required to.
Your rights
- See what we hold about your child, and get a copy.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your child's profile and their information.
- Withdraw this consent at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it — email us, or delete the profile from your account.
- Complain to us first, and to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve it.
An honest word about the reports
These tests are a screening snapshot, not a clinical or medical diagnosis. They are built on TopperLens Junior's own benchmarks and research frameworks, sat in a single sitting, and they should be treated as a useful starting signal — never as a label, a verdict, or a reason to judge your child.
Questions or complaints
Email privacy@junior.topperlens.in and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you may raise the matter with the Data Protection Board of India.
